OVERVIEW:

Computers-4-Kids! has a unique opportunity for a Shipping Clerk. Computers-4-Kids! provides a dynamic, fast paced work environment for an individual looking to be part of a company that has an ambitious plan to have a significant, positive impact on the local Austin community. We are looking for a Shipping Clerk who will be an integral part of this mission.

DUTIES:

It is the Shipping Clerk’s duty to provide stability & quality to our E-Commerce / Sales department ensuring each order is correct & packaged with care.

Specific duties include:

o Package computer & technology related equipment within our 3 business day deadline

o Manage inbound & outbound freight shipments

QUALITIES:

o Passion for the local community & employment in the non-profit sector

o Willingness to work in an environment that will be constantly evolving

o Confidence in yourself and your skills

o Flexibility to be strong as well as gently influential

QUALIFICATIONS:

o 1+ year of shipping & packaging experience

o Experience with shipping software

o Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word & Excel applications

o Technology-savvy

o Strong emphasis on execution, quality control and attention to detail

o Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

EDUCATION:

Some College Desired
