Computers-4-Kids! has
a unique opportunity for an Technology & Media Education Specialist.
Computers-4-Kids! provides a dynamic, fast paced work

DUTIES:
The goal of the Technology &
Media Education Specialist will be to coordinate & lead educational
programs for local area youth from low income families.
Specific duties include:
o
Design
youth oriented curriculums for fundamental hardware & software computer classes
as well as more advanced computer media classes (Web 2.0, Audio, Video, Photography,
etc)
o
Teach
developed curriculums on-site at local schools & community spaces
o
Manage
relationships with area schools & local community youth groups

QUALIFICATIONS:

Technology-savvy
education professional with 1+ years of teaching experience

Strong
knowledge of curriculum design & ability to engage children in the learning
experience
o
Strong
project management skills
o
Strong
emphasis on execution, quality control and attention to detail
o
Excellent
analytical and problem solving skills
o
Superior
communication skills; writing, negotiation, expectation setting, presentation
o
HTML,
Web 2.0, Audio / Video skills are highly desired
EDUCATION:
BS/BA Degree Required
