LIBERATE YOUR UNUSED COMPUTERS

The US government estimates that three-quarters of computers ever sold in America remain stockpiled. By the year 2004, the National Safety Council (NSC) estimates that we will have more than 315 million obsolete computers in the US.

In addition, the Council found that the average life span of a personal computer has shrunk from 4-5 years to 2 years!

Computers-4-Kids! is an educational non-profit, 501(c)(3) in Austin, Texas. Our goal is to provide computers and technical training to youth interested in learning computer technology.

Please help us by donating your unused, stockpiled computer software and hardware. We desperately need software such a Dos 6.22, MS Windows 98 and Microsoft Office 97 (or later).

We need any working or repairable hardware systems faster that a 266 MHz and working monitors and printers. We dispose of non-working equipment for 50 cents per pound. Office furniture, telephone systems, fax machines, copiers and monetary donations are also accepted. We appreciate monetary donations that can be used to acquire new software.

Computers-4-Kids! is helping to follow the ecological imperative of rescuing electronic equipment from the e-waste stream.
